The awards were decided by a global judging panel and were evaluated on the organization’s ability to:
have a proven track record of impact;
address a significant challenge;
use an innovative approach,
have the potential to spread and scale up
Jonathan Finkelstein, Credly’s founder and CEO, was on hand to accept the award during a presentation ceremony hosted by the RSA. “We are honored to be recognized alongside our fellow award winners for our contributions to the future of work,” Finkelstein said. “This award is not only recognition for Credly but for the impact of the digital credential movement as a whole in connecting lifelong learning providers, employers, and professionals in an evolving digital economy. ”
The RSA set out to identify and recognize organisations that are helping people create better ways to work in a flexible, frequently changing digital economy. Credly was recognized in part for its unique ability to close the communications gap which often exists between job-seekers and employers by providing context, standards and verification for achievements in the form of digital credentials; along with Credly’s labor market data and targeted recommendations which help guide “what’s next” in the career path for a digital credential earner.
