Credly Selected as Regional Finalist in the MIT Inclusive Innovation Challenge
MIT announced today that Credly is one of 12 regional finalists in the U.S and Canada - and one of 60 worldwide - chosen to advance in the MIT Inclusive Innovation Challenge. The challenge recognizes start-ups and entrepreneurial organizations that are creating economic opportunity for moderate and low income earners. The Inclusive Innovation Challenge awards over one million dollars in prizes to future of work entrepreneurs whose contributions build an economy that works for all in the digital era.
“Technology has the potential to increase access to economic growth for individuals across the world," said Credly's founder and CEO, Jonathan Finkelstein. "Credly is proud to stand with fellow regional finalists, all seeking a future of work that is as inclusive as it is prosperous for every member of the workforce.”
The next phase of the challenge will take place on September 18th in Toronto, where Credly will join fellow finalists in the U.S & Canada region to celebrate and pitch its solution for the opportunity to advance to the Global Grand Prize Gala at MIT in Cambridge, MA later this fall.
