RMIT, which issues digital credentials on Credly's platform, was recognized by the Business / Higher Education Round Table (BHERT) with an award for Outstanding Collaboration in Higher Education and Training for the University's digital credential program. Since 1998, the BHERT Awards have recognized the importance of partnerships between businesses and universities in innovation, research and development, and teaching.

RMIT's digital credential program consists of RMIT Creds and the RMIT Online Future Skills portfolio.  BHERT CEO Dr. Peter Binks said,“RMIT University has established a leadership position in Australia in the rapidly growing field of digital learning. Its strategic partnership with Credly, a leading global digital credentialing platform, and the development of 85 industry relationships to inform the design and delivery of their credentials, made this a standout program.”

“RMIT has combined both vision and passion for utilizing technology to connect its students with the knowledge and tools necessary for career success,“said Jarin Schmidt, Chief Experience Officer of Credly. “We’re honored to work alongside them and are delighted that BHERT has recognized RMIT’s efforts and outcomes with this award.”
